So lately I have found interests in space science. I know what you're thinking, "ew, science!" Welp, it is so much more beautiful and important than you think. Did you know that if the world stopped spinning we would probably instantly die because there would be winds would tear everything apart. Why? Well Earth rotates at 550 kilometers per SECOND (330 miles per second). Did you also know that all of Earth's history that we know is only 14 seconds on the cosmic calendar? Wow, our lives aren't even worth a blink of an eye. Its so crazy to think that we haven't found a planet like Earth for millions of light years. Light travels at 299,972 kilometers per second (186,282 miles per second), still don't get the big picture? Lets just say that you would be able to travel around the earth 7.5 in one second traveling at the speed of light, so imagine light YEARS. Yup, millions of light years and we cant even find another planet similar to Earth. Well, you know what they say, there is no place like home. I mean, we have mars. Mars is a possible candidate; however, it does have its complications, Wanna know why? Well if you do then you too, like me, might be interested in space science. There is so much to learn. Earth is scary, but at the same time absolutely beautiful. If only you could see the horrific planets that are out there, you would be grateful you have this amazing one to call home. And that is a true statement, learning more and more about the universe everyday really does make you more open minded, and really opens to your eyes to this great, but small world we get to live on everyday. The more you learn about space, the more differently you look at the world. Everyday we ignore all the blessings we have and focus all of our emotions into little things. Well maybe we should stopped looking at the clouds, and look even further. It really isn't everything out there in space that can possibly ruin Earth that we should be worries, its in fact the people living right on it. Our mind is fixed on material things and money and all that, but we're in a great dark infinite ocean of non-livable planets and ours is slowly dying. We have taken what we have for granted and we don't even acknowledge it. Some people think "oh, but those problems wont be problems for my generation." Well, don't forget about your grandkids. But I guess all we can do for now is just look up and smile know that we were lucky enough to have this great planet.
Well, that was my rant on plant Earth and space. I hope you take into consideration of just atleast looking up and learning more about the universe. It will make you appreciate EVERYTHING you have around you, trust me.
